Rapid Parcel Level Assessments

The Drive By Assessment Program began in 2023 on a county wide scale and is being performed by the 5 fire districts as well as the Grand County Wildfire Council. These assessments are designed to be a 60 second assessment from the road of conditions observed at that time and what can be seen without entering private property.

Property Wildfire Risk Assessments

In collaboration with the Grand County Wildfire Council, we can provide a wildfire risk assessment to property owners at no cost. This is an in-depth 45 minute walk through designed to discuss best practice mitigation measures including: building materials, vegetation, fire behavior, and forest health.

Assessments will be scheduled May-October as availability allows.
