History

East Grand Fire Protection District was formed in 1968. At that time, we had metal buildings for stations with a couple of trucks and a handful of vehicles at each station. Sixteen years later we moved into our current locations at Highway 40 in Fraser and 60 County Road 526 in Tabernash.
